Increasing C/Mn up the list (1010 ≈0.10%C, 1018 ≈0.15-0.20%C, 1020 ≈0.18-0.23%C, 1026 ≈0.22-0.28%C). Use: shafts, pins, general engineering parts; higher grades allow light heat treatment to raise strength. Good weldability and cold forming.
